  • What is the guest capacity at The Marble Room?
    The Marble Room can hold up to 300 seated for dinner with a small dance floor. The space is best suited for 250 and under for a larger dance floor.
  • Can I bring my own food?
    Yes, you can bring any licensed and insured caterer.
  • Can I bring my own alcohol?
    Yes, you can with a one day ABC license.
  • Do you have a bridal suite?
    Yes, we do have 2 bridal suites.
  • Do you have a separate ceremony site?
    Yes, if you have less than 125 guests your ceremony can be held in "The Studio". If you have more than 125 guests your ceremony would need to be held in The Ballroom, then do a room flip from ceremony to reception. The guests would go in The Studio for a standing cocktail hour while the room flip is taking place,
  • Do you have a place for outdoor pictures?
    Yes, less than a minute from the venue is a beautiful long wooden bridge surrounded by trees and nature.
  • Is event insurance required?
    Yes, we do require event insurance with a $0 deductible.
  • Do you provide tables/chairs?
    Yes, we provide round and rectangular tables plus Chiavari chairs.
  • Do you have hotels near by?
    Yes, there are lots of hotels located on Mechanicsville Turnpike.
  • Do you have parking?
    Yes, we have tons of onsite parking available.
  • How do I secure my date?
    To officially book a contract is required along with a 50% retainer fee. The remaining 50% is due 60 days before your event. All events within 60 days are required to pay in full.
  • What time will I have access to the property?
    Access to the property will depend on the timeframe agreed upon in your contract.
  • Can I use real candles?
    Only battery operated candles are allowed on the premises.
  • What items are not permitted for an event?
    Glitter Confetti Rice Popping bottles
  • Can I bring in my own vendors?
    Yes, you may bring in licensed and insured vendors.
  • Can I attach anything to the walls?
    Nothing can be affixed to the venue, all decorations must be free standing.
  • Who sets up tables/chairs?
    The Marble Room will set up the tables/chairs according to the client's preferred floor layout.
  • Can I view the rental space?
    Yes, tours are by appointment only. Please send us a message or call 804-721-5306 to schedule your appointment. Please note we schedule back to back appointments. If you are more than 5 minutes late your tour will be automatically canceled.
  • How much is it to rent The Marble Room?
    Prices vary by season. Please contact us for a current pricing sheet.
  • Is there a kitchen on site?
    Only a prep area is available. We highly recommend hiring a caterer.
  • What is expected at clean up?
    You must bag and remove your trash, we have a dumpster on site. You and your vendors must remove anything you brought in. If you use the refrigerator you must empty and wipe it out. If food or drink is spilled during your event it must be cleaned up right away, this is a safety hazard. Once the event is over The Marble Room will sweep, mop, and clean the bathrooms.

    The Marble Room is happy to create a custom package just for you.
